Diyala College of Medicine organizes an awareness campaign on (viral hepatitis and ways to prevent it) hosted by the College of Science

Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, and as part of its series of health awareness campaigns, Diyala Medicine is organizing a campaign for students of the College of Science at the university about (viral hepatitis, and methods of preventing it), and in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and a group of college teachers, represented by A.M. Dr. Asmaa Abbas Ajwad and Eng. Manar Abdel Razzaq Hassan and M. Asmaa Najm Abdel and M.M. Shahad Khudair Khalaf and M.M. Mustafa Ahmed Dawoud and the participation of the third stage students of our college on Sunday 17/12/2023
The campaign included introducing students to the types of viral hepatitis, the viruses that cause it, and the ways it is transmitted between people, especially the youth group, and introducing them to the risks of blood transfusion between people infected with the disease regarding viruses that are transmitted through blood, and introducing them to the methods of transmission of other types, as well as introducing them to the importance of prevention methods, especially common matters among the youth group, such as Tattoos, sharp shaving tools, etc., and explaining how to deal with people afflicted with this disease, in addition to distributing brochures introducing the disease in order to raise their health awareness in a healthy, healthy environment.
