Diyala Medicine holds a scientific symposium on coronary atherosclerosis
The College of Medicine at the University of Diyala held a scientific symposium on coronary atherosclerosis and the benefit of using dual therapy to prevent platelet aggregation with statins in the treatment of sclerosis. Dr. Ahmed Medb Adhab lectured in the Continuing Education Hall. The symposium showed that heart diseases, the most important of which is coronary artery atherosclerosis, are among the most terrifying and widespread diseases and the first cause of death. Therefore, recent studies in many countries of the world have proven that the use of aspirin and clopidogrel, which prevent platelet aggregation and thus increase blood fluidity. The symposium indicated that the use of a third treatment that reduce harmful fats has been proven by scientific studies to reduce a high percentage of deaths and complications by using these drugs.
