University of Diyala/ College of Medicine holds a scientific symposium on neonatal anaemia
The College of Medicine at University of Diyala held an electronic scientific symposium on neonatal anaemia, in which Dr. Zahraa Najah Mahdi lectured via Zoom program. The symposium dealt with the issue of neonatal anaemia that occurs in new-borns. It touched on the most important points that indicate its existence, the most important reasons that lead to its occurrence, how to diagnose it, the most important, most common, and most dangerous reasons, which are the mismatch of the main factor and the mismatch of blood types between the mother and the father. The symposium concluded with methods of diagnosing and detecting haemolytic anaemia in the fetus and new-borns, and how to follow up and treat them.
