As part of its efforts to establish a new training center, the College of Medicine at the University of Diyala hosts the Iraqi Council for Medical Specializations
A delegation from the Iraqi Council for Medical Specialization, chaired by Dr. Haider Abdel-Hussein Ahmed, Chairman of the Council, and included a number of board members and the Secretary of the Council, visited the College of Medicine last week. The delegation was welcomed by the President of the University of Diyala (Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Abbas Karim), the Dean of the College of Medicine (Prof. Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif), Vice-deans of the College and faculty members.
The visiting delegation toured the buildings and departments of the college, including a classroom, scientific laboratories, and a number of other infrastructures, to assess the readiness and preparation level for establishing a training center for Iraqi Board Students in Diyala Governorate.
At the end of the tour, the visiting delegation expressed its gratitude for the warm reception and expressed its satisfaction with the progress made by the College of Medicine on the horizontal and vertical levels in its efforts to establish the training centre, wishing them and its staff continued success.
