Within the activities of the third scientific forum, Diyala Medicine holds a scientific symposium entitled Speech delay in children

Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, the Quality Assurance Division held a scientific symposium entitled (Delayed speech in children). The symposium was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Saif Hakim Tawfiq, Children’s Branch.
The symposium aimed to know words, pronunciations, and delayed speech in children in general and newborns in particular, for age groups from the first month to five years of age, and what are the causes that lead to delayed speech, how to diagnose them, and the appropriate treatment for each age group.
In conclusion, the symposium highlighted the necessity of adhering to the advice that parents who have a child suffering from delayed speech should know, as treatment in this case requires cooperation between the doctor and the family.
