Diyala College of Medicine responds to the call of the Holy Abbasid Shrine
The delegation of the Diyala College of Medicine was honored to respond to the invitation to visit the Holy Abbasid Shrine, Al-Ameed University, and Al-Kafeel Hospital. The delegation was headed by Professor Dr. Amer Daoud Majeed, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Saleh Mahdi Salman, Student Activities Officer Safaa Hassan, chief translator Shamil Dhiyab Abbas, and senior physiologist Muhammad Wahib and A large number of our dear students from all levels of our college on Wednesday (1/24/2024).
The visit included several religious and scientific axes, as the delegation was honored by the hospitality of the holy al-Hussein and al-Abbas shrines. For their part, the delegation conveyed greetings and gratitude from the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, the teaching staff and the staff, to those in charge of the generous invitation from the holy al-Abbas Shrine, which is still interested in scientific meetings. Among the scientific edifices of our beloved country with the aim of scientific and academic development, as well as social and religious development. The delegation listened to some valuable lectures that specialized in how to strengthen the individual’s relationship with the homeland and society, delivered by Professor Jassim Al-Saadi, a specialist in sociology from the Department of Public Relations, and an orientation and guidance lecture on the individual’s relationship with his surroundings. The delegation then headed to the Al-Ameed University edifice, where they were received by the University’s Department of Media and Public Relations, in order to view its colleges, its infrastructure, its scientific and administrative wing, its laboratories, study halls, modern scientific equipment, its educational libraries, and its education systems. Finally, the delegation was briefed on the various modern teaching strategies that distinguished it. It houses Al-Ameed University. At the conclusion of its visit, the visiting delegation expressed its admiration for the distinguished university edifice, and the delegation expressed its desire to sustain scientific and research cooperation.The delegation concluded its visit at Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital to view all the hospital’s facilities, units, and modern scientific equipment. It included a detailed explanation of all the modern medical equipment. The visiting delegation praised these modern medical capabilities, as well as the exemplary health care provided by Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital.
