Diyala College of Medicine holds a scientific discussion workshop with officials of the academic accreditation axes to evaluate medical colleges
Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Medicine in Diyala, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, a scientific discussion workshop was held with officials of the nine academic accreditation axes, moderated by Professor Dr. Jalil Ibrahim Kazem, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Medicine in Diyala.
It included a presentation of what was accomplished in all the axes by the axes’ officials, highlighting the requirements for each axis and according to the secondary axes of each main axis, emphasizing the necessity of providing all evidence that proves what the college has accomplished in each axis, as the team of national evaluators for academic accreditation conducts verification and examination. The exact existence of these evidences and evidence is approved by the National Accreditation Council for Medical Colleges (NCAMC).
It also formed a discussion panel with the hub officials and explained that these evidences and evidence may be in the form of an administrative order or an interview with students, teachers and employees, and among the evidence may be pictures of a special facility for the college and others.
In conclusion, in order to complete the requirements for institutional accreditation in medical colleges, there will be a periodic meeting with the officials of each axis individually. An audit committee has been formed for this purpose in our college in order to consolidate the work and present it in the required manner in local and international forums.
