The College of Medicine –University of Diyala holds a symposium that holds a scientific symposium entitled Vesicular and bullous lesions of oral cavity
Under the supervision of the Dean of College of Medicine – University of Diyala, Prof. Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif. The Division of Continuing Education, in cooperation with the department of Anatomy, completed a scientific symposium entitled Vesicular and bullous lesions of oral cavity, presented by teacher Dr. Haider Mahdi Aidan.
The symposium included the definition of vesicular lesions of the oral cavity, which are divided into four main groups and an indication of the causes of infection, especially if the patient has herpes ulcers or contact with saliva from a partner infected with oral herpes infection or skin in the oral area of the partner with oral herpes and skin,As for (Coxsackievirus Infection), with mention of the most important ways of its spread and the complications associated with the virus in addition to methods of diagnosis and treatment, and the infection of the virus (Coxsackievirus Infection), may lead to three sections of pathology: Hand, foot and mouth disease, Herpangina and Lymphonodular pharyngitis. The most affected groups were mentioned, as children under the age of 10 years are less affected by the disease, and most infections occur in the summer, and patients develop fever, headache and muscle pain, which usually lasts from one to three days only, 75 to 100% of patients suffer from rashes, especially on the hands and feet, but in the mouth the lesions begin in the form of erythematous lesion turn into vesicles and quickly turn into ulcers.
