College of Medicine – University of Diyala holds a scientific symposium entitled Assessment of non – scholastic Abilities
Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine – University of Diyala, Prof. Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, the Medical Education Division completed a scientific symposium entitled (Assessment of non-scholastic abilities) presented by Dr. Adnan Yas Khudair lectured.
The symposium included a definition of the importance of evaluating the capabilities of non-school students within the ethics of dealing with patients, society and students with each other, where the symposium showed methods of evaluating students’ abilities to communicate with patients, such as methods of testing the performance of clinical skills and proficiency in clinical examination and medical procedures (OSCE), which is one of the moxt important methods for assessing students’ skills.
In conclusion, many scientific experiments were recalled in reliable ways to assess the students’ ability to communicate and deal with patients from different categories to benefit scientifically and serve the individual and society.
