The Dean of the College of Medicine of Diyala, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, received the ministerial delegation of the National Council for Accreditation of Colleges Medicine was received by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, the academic accreditation axis committees, the heads of scientific branches, and members of the teaching staff at the College of Medicine, on Sunday, 4/21/2024.
This visit comes to raise the quality of the outputs of Iraqi medical colleges to the global level, as this council works to raise the level of medical education in Iraqi medical colleges to be accredited in accordance with Iraqi national standards and in line with regional and international standards, as part of the powers granted to it by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. .
The delegation began its work, which will last several days, in order to review the evidence and the reality of the situation at the college in interviews and discussions with members of the academic accreditation axis committees at the college.
For his part, the President of the University of Diyala welcomed the national delegation to accredit medical colleges and praised their efforts through the field visits they carry out, which aim to advance Iraqi medical colleges to the ranks of international classification and accreditation.
