Diyala College of Medicine holds a scientific symposium on the standards of digital transformation for universities

The Academics Syndicate in Diyala Branch, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division at the College of Medicine, organized a scientific symposium entitled (Standards for Digital Transformation of Universities), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Amer Abbas, Director of the Electronic Computer Center at the University of Diyala, and Lecturer Dr. Ayman Mazhar Badr in the Computer and Internet Division.
The symposium aimed to define digital transformation, its importance, and its role in enhancing the quality of education and improving academic and administrative performance in academic institutions, indicating the basic criteria required to achieve successful digital transformation, including developing digital infrastructure, updating e-learning systems, as well as qualifying academic and administrative cadres to keep pace with rapid technological changes.At the end of the symposium, the Director of the University’s Computer Center explained that the University of Diyala seeks to apply digital transformation standards in all its formations, with the aim of improving the quality of services provided and accelerating their completion more effectively, stressing the importance of building integrated information systems based on cloud computing, in addition to the intensive use of information technology, which contributes to the development of various educational, service, and administrative aspects within the university
