Diyala College of Medicine Council Holds Twelfth Open Session for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

The College of Medicine Council at the University of Diyala held its twelfth open session for the 2024-2025 academic year on Sunday, June 1, 2025. The session was chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, and attended by the Dean’s Assistants for Academic and Administrative Affairs and the distinguished members of the Council, including heads of academic departments.
The session was devoted to discussing several important topics, most notably the approval of the final exam results for the preliminary study. The heads of academic departments presented their reports on the progress of the examination process and the extent of adherence to university regulations. They also highlighted the success rates and academic performance of students. During the session, the Council also discussed a number of academic and administrative issues related to the current academic year, including academic plans for the next semester and follow-up on the clinical training file for clinical students. At the conclusion of the session, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of enhancing academic quality standards and ensuring fairness and transparency in student evaluation. He also praised the efforts of the Central Examination Committee and the teaching and administrative staff who contributed to the success of the examination process and the advancement of the College’s academic level.
