Diyala Medicine is holding an awareness campaign about osteoporosis

The College of Medicine at the University of Diyala held an awareness campaign about osteoporosis, which was supervised by Dr. Moayad Kazem Al-Nuaimi The campaign included how to prevent osteoporosis through exercise first, by walking regularly, jogging and dancing, in addition to climbing the stairs, or by eating sufficient amounts of calcium and vitamin D and the sources of these elements in low-fat dairy or yogurt and dried fruits, in addition to legumes, almond milk and some types of the bread. The workshop emphasized the necessity of avoiding violent movements or falling from heights and focusing on using methods that ensure movement inside and outside the home.
