Diyala College of Medicine organizes volunteer campaigns entitled (Agriculture is the future of nations and the shield of civilizations)

Within the framework of sustainable development and environmental preservation, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Ismail Latif Ibrahim, and with the participation of teachers, affiliates, and students of the third stage, the college organized a volunteer campaign to plant and maintain gardens in Al-Khamayel Primary School and the New Baquba School for Boys in Diyala Governorate, entitled (Agriculture is the future of nations and the shield of civilizations)
The campaign aimed for sustainable environmental development by educating and encouraging volunteer work for everyone about environmental afforestation during the planting season, to increase the green area, combat desertification, rehabilitate deteriorated vegetation sites, and reduce negative practices towards vegetation cover.
The campaign included planting trees and ornamental plants, cleaning gardens and waterways, removing bushes, and beautifying the external and internal courtyards of the place for the purpose of improving and softening the weather and creating a suitable atmosphere for the community and presenting it with its most beautiful appearance and preparation for a healthy environment with high standards and quality.
