The College of Medicine, University of Diyala, operates a medical detachment to serve pilgrims commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)

As part of the humanitarian and service efforts provided by the College of Medicine at the University of Diyala, and under the supervision and patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, a medical detachment was formed, comprising a number of faculty and staff members. They expressed their full readiness to provide all necessary services to pilgrims and guests of God during the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The Dean of the College stated in a statement that this initiative embodies the College’s commitment to its humanitarian and service role. He noted that the medical detachment will be fully equipped with the necessary medical capabilities and supplies to provide healthcare to pilgrims. This reflects the College’s commitment to strengthening its role in serving the community and providing support and assistance on this great religious occasion.
