The College of Medicine at Diyala University Welcomes the National Institutional Accreditation Team for a Comprehensive Evaluation Visit

The College of Medicine at Diyala University welcomed the National Institutional Accreditation team as part of field visits dedicated to evaluating the current state of medical colleges and fulfilling accreditation requirements. The team was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Latif, along with the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and several faculty members. The Dean provided a brief overview of the college’s plans and development programs.

The visit included a tour of several college facilities, including a classroom to observe the learning environment and teaching methods. The team also met with students to learn about their academic experiences and needs. The tour further included a visit to the Registration Department to review its operational procedures and the organization of student files, and a visit to the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department to review the documents and procedures related to accreditation standards.

This visit is part of the established procedures for assessing institutional readiness and fulfilling the necessary requirements to elevate the level of medical education in line with the plans of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
