Dean of Diyala College of Medicine Participates in Opening of Educational Building at Baqubah Teaching Hospital

Under the patronage of the President of Diyala University, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, the Dean of Diyala College of Medicine, Professor Ismail Ibrahim Latif, participated in the opening of a new educational building at Baqubah Teaching Hospital on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
The educational building was inaugurated by Diyala Governor Adnan Al-Shammari, in the presence of the Director General of the Diyala Health Department, Dr. Haider Al-Magdami, and the Director of the Hospital, Dr. Firas Raad Shihab Al-Tamimi.
The Dean of the College explained that the new building includes a meeting room, a conference hall, and educational halls dedicated to training medical students. He also noted that the halls are equipped with the latest technology, including interactive screens and modern audio equipment, which contributes to improving the quality of medical education.
For his part, the Diyala Governor praised the high-level cooperation between Diyala University, the College of Medicine, Diyala Governorate, and its health departments, which contributed to the establishment of this educational building, emphasizing its role in strengthening the health and education system in the province.
